B'Gosh, Lola, Lulu, and I just returned from a week in Chicago and Wisconsin. In reviewing my pictures, I realized that I only have a few good pictures of food. I am totally slacking. I missed the wonderful chopped salad I had at Lady Gregory's in Chicago, and deep-dish pizza at Gino's East! What a shame.
Anywho, here are two of my favorite edibles from the trip. First, under that pile of fried onions sits possible the biggest New York strip steak I have ever eaten in my life. And I think I came close to eating the whole thing. It was from The Roxy Supper Club in Oshkosh. Delicious!
Second, THE BEST, and I mean THE BEST cinnamon roll I have ever eaten in my life. Yeasty, cinnamony yummy-ness from Denny's Diner in Wisconsin Dells. Not the chain Denny's, but a little local dinner. They sell out of cinnamon rolls EVERY DAY! Seriously good.

Green Truck
This was one of my favorite meals of this year so far. I had the Trailer Park burger and a Palm ale at The Green Truck Pub in Savannah back in May of this year. A delicious burger, topped with pimento cheese, and some of the best french fries ever. This place was great, small but fun, and the service was FANTASTIC! If you're in Savannah, make sure you go!

Of course I am still eating!
Lots on my mind the last few months, but I am still out there, still eating. I am going to post some older photos of things I have eaten but didn't post or write about, just to hold things over until I get back in the swing of this thing.
This was a big mess of fried fish at Stumpknockers in Dunnellon, Florida. Cute place, right on the Withlacoochee River. Yum!

I'm back!
Starting tomorrow, I will be posting my food escapades again. In fact, I will start with a montage of the food that I have eaten since I last posted. There are lots of pictures, so I will try to pick the best of the best.
Here is a teaser...Manhattan Clam Chowder...in Manhattan, with a pint or two of Bass. Pig and Whistle on 3rd Ave It was delicious, as was the rest of our meal!
